About Me
Hi There!
Thanks for reading this far!
This magazine was originally created for my Communications capstone class as a culmination of what I learned and accomplished during my college career. Mindful Millennials was the recipient of the Maltese Award for Best Magazine in the department. I decided to re-design it into a digital magazine that I could continuously update. A downloadable PDF version of the original project can be found here.
When I was in college for my undergrad, I minored in philosophy completing the following courses: Logic, Ethics, Metaphysics, Existentialism and Phenomenology, Philosophy of Sex and Love, Philosophy of Religion and Philosophy of Technology. I created this digital version of the magazine as a selfish way to continue learning about philosophy as a recent graduate.
My first memory with philosophy was reading Sophie’s World by Jostein Gaarder in my high school AP Modern Classic Literature class, I fell in love with it from the start. It is the perfect introductory book that lays down the ground work on Western philosophy, from Socrates to Sartre. Every time I re-read it, I gain something new.
